  Today, a special timing was followed for adjusting a zero period from 1:20 p.m. to 2 PM. 5 minutes was   cut shot from each period so as to accommodate a new period.This zero period was meant for Club activities.

  By today, my portions got completely finished, so I started off with the revision of the chapter RATIO

  Today I reached the school at 8 am.  As per the timetable my period was from 8:45 a.m. to 9:25 am.

  My class experience

  As usual I began the class with a silent prayer.Then I gave the puzzle followed by activity cards and directly moved on to the topic.  The class went on smoothly.

DAY 8

                                                STAR MAKING COMPETITION

  Today was a wonderful day for me. I reached the school on time.  Maya teacher had come for observation today.  Achu had the second period and I had third period. Both of our classes were observed. After our classes we called teacher to ask whether she left the school. She had observed our classes and went to Cotton Hill School.

                            Today there was star making competition in the school. Children made beautiful stars by themselves and it was hanged all along the Portico. That was so beautiful to see. We took photos.

  My class experience

  Today Maya teacher came for observing my class.  I began the class with a silent prayer. Then I gave a simple puzzle to the children. They solved it easily and asked for one more puzzle.  Then I gave activity cards to them, after filling of which we moved to our topic RATIO.  By then the bell rang and I left the class.

                                 

Day 7

  Today Anjana Madam talked with us for some time and asked if we were happy or not. We said we were absolutely free and happy here.  As per  the timetable I had the second period.  After my period We both went to the library to take books and read. We haven’t seen the school library. The library was well-maintained.

  My class experience

  Today as per the lesson plan I had to finish only five questions.  I had plenty of time left before me. I gave two puzzles for the children as they demanded. They were really interested in these kinds of activities such as filling in the chart, solving puzzles, doing activity card and so on.  Today I told them  that the first five of them who completed the answers first will get a star. So all of them completed so fastly.  I offered them a star as promised.

 DAY 6

  Another good starting of a new week. Today, I reached the  school at 7:40 am. After attending the school assembly, I signed in the register and went to the staffroom. Today I had the fifth period which was from 11:40 am.  During the free time I and Achu helped Chitra teacher in preparing question paper.  Achu did most of the work as the question paper was to be prepared for their concerned subject, English. As a token of thanks, ma'am bought us tea and snacks. We were reluctant in receiving such a bounty without doing much in return. But then teacher compelled us very much, so we accepted it with thanks.

  My class experience

  Today I had the fifth period  Today’s portion was relatively bigger and hence I give the puzzle quickly and also distributed the activity cards.  As usual I explained the problem then made the children to fill in the activity chart.

Day 5

22/11/2019

  Today was the last working day of the week as usual, I reached the school by 7:45 AM.  Today a special timing   was followed in the school.  That was for an extra Zero period because of which all the periods was of a duration of 35 minutes instead of 40 minutes. It was arranged on account of planning for Christmas celebration. As per the new timetable my period 7^th. It was before the lunch break. After 2 pm we both left for home.

  Today after explaining a problem  I called out the names of certain students instead of calling out the wrong numbers as usually I would do.  I did so as I wanted to check myself whether I had learned the names of students or not.  Students were very happy when they heard me calling out their name.  the. Worcester 12:20 p.m. I left the class when the bell rang.

DAY 4

  Today also we both went to the canteen for a small refreshment. In the canteen we saw Chitra teacher,  whom we had met before.  Her subject was English. We sat there and talked with her. She was an ex-student of MTTC. Laji Sir had taught her at MTTC. There we spent 15 to 20 minutes sitting and talking.

  Today   as usual after a silent prayer I gave an interesting puzzle to the children. Many of them raised their hands. I give chance to one among them. Needless to say, she  made that correct answer.  After the puzzle I went on with distributing the activity card which they filled up with in no time and returned to me.  Then I moved to the topic then made them write on the activity chart  and gave them a follow-up activity as well as an assignment. By then it was time for the bell and when the bell rang I left the class.

DAY 3

20/11/2019

  Today for the first time we both went to the school canteen.  There, we spent almost 15 to 20 minutes. The canteen was very much spacious . We felt really good sitting there for a short time.

  Today I had the third period. After a silent prayer, I gave them a simple puzzle.  Then I went on with distributing the activity cards. The students did it and gave it to me. All the students were energized and thus I slowly moved to my topic. After teaching, I made them write on the activity chart. Children were very happy to fill in the chart. After giving the follow-up activity and assignment, it was time for bell. I left when the bell rang.

DAY 2

  Today, I reached the school at 7:45 am. Today I attended the prayer for teachers. By 8 am, the assembly got winded up. Today I had second and sixth periods in 8D. After signing in the register, I moved on to the staffroom where we were alloted places. By 8:40 p.m. I got ready for my class in 8D. After the class , I checked my phone and found Deepthi teacher's missed call. I Called back and was informed that teacher will be coming for observation during my 6^th period. Both Joju sir and Deepthi teacher came. During lunch break we had a discussion with our principal ma’am with regard to the Christmas celebration. Then Ma’am directed us to another teacher with whom we had a detailed discussion about the events for the Christmas celebration. By 2:15 p.m. we left the school.

    Today  I had    second. Which was from 8:45 a.m. to 9:25 am.  I gave them an interesting puzzle after which I distributed the activity cards and made them do it.  After checking that answers I straight to remove to the topic.  During my 6^th period Deepthi  teacher and Joju sir came for observation.

DAY 1

  Today being the first day at school I reached Before Time. The school timing is from 7:45 a.m. to 2 PM. It is from 7:45 to 8 a.m. that the school assembly  is being conducted.My period was from 8 a.m. Only I and Achu from English optional were alloted the school.Both of us went to the principal and met her. We had both a casual as well as a formal talk with her. As soon as we entered the room she gave us a warm welcome and gave us necessary instructions and led us to the staff room. There she introduced  us to the   whole panel of teachers. All teachers greeted us and inquired of our whereabouts. On the whole, I felt really happy and privileged for having given such a nice school. After that I met my concerned teacher, Mrs. Lakshmi. I asked her about the topics that was to be taught and she gave me necessary instructions and valuable suggestions. After my period I was free except for finishing my lesson plans.  By 2:15 p.m I left the school.

  My class experience

  I was given class 8D. The total strength of the class was 43.My period started at 11 am. As I entered the class, the students got up and greeted me. I greeted them back and asked them to sit. My concerned teacher  accompanied me to the class and sat at at the back. I smiled and introduced myself to the whole class. Then I began with the first bench students in asking their names. Some of the students were not present as they had went for participating in school Youth Festival.  I began with an interesting puzzle and then distributed the activity cards. Then I moved on to my topic RATIO. From the very first day I realized that the students were extremely studious with a thorough subject knowledge. By 11:40 the bell rang, I left the place.
