CHRISTMAS VACATION IN SCHOOL
                     
                                  The Christmas vacation started in school. The school will be reopening only on 30th December.

  

DAY 18

11/12/2019

  Today I had exam duty for Class 8 students.  After the exams were over we both went to the staff room to   inform them that we we’re leaving  today.  All the teachers  bid us  a bye.  We told them that we will rejoin the school on January 6^th.

  

DAY 17

10/12/2019

  Today also I reached the school by 9 a.m. itself. There was exam Duty assigned for both of us. For me, it was morning duty and for Achu afternoon duty was assigned.

                            Today I was to supervise fifth standard students. They had Malayalam second paper exam today.  The exam started at 10 a.m. and ended by 12 p.m. I collected the answer sheet and  kept it in another room where all the answer sheets were kept.

                                                            MID TERM EXAM

              Today the midterm exams had begun. The exams for all classes are conducted at different times.  For some classes it was from 9:30 a.m. Also the duration varied from 1 and ½ hours to 2 and even 2 and ½ hours.  Today we were informed to reach the school by 9 a.m. as the exams were to begin at 9:30 AM. We were assigned exam duty. Today I had to invigilate class six students. The class six students were shuffled and were to write exam in 7C class. My hall had students from 6A and 6B. Totally there were 24 students;12 from 6A and remaining 12 from 6 B. None of the students are absent today. I was given clear instructions from another teacher to note down the roll numbers of absentees if any, on the first answer sheet after collection.

                                          At 9:30 a.m., I gave answer sheets to all the students and at 9:45 a.m. I distributed the question papers. That question paper was to be distributed 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam, as 15 minutes time was alerted as a cool off time for students to just read the question.  At 10 AM, students started writing. It was Malayalam exam for them.  Today’s exam was of 2 hours duration. So the exam was to commence on   10 a.m. and end on 12 p.m. But all the students  had finished off writing by 11:30 am. So by 11:45 a.m ,I collected their answer sheets.

  

  DAY 15

Today was a good day. I reached the school at 8 a.m. Then I went to sign in the register. After signing in the register, I moved on to my position. Today my teacher had  asked me to contact to revision as she had to attend to other division of Class 8.

  

DAY 14

05/12/2019

  Today was a wonderful day. I reached the school at 8 a.m. today. By then the assembly was over. I signed the register and moved up to my place.

                     During the third period, I went to 8D on substitution.  There I gave some questions based on a RATIO. Children without any grudge or grievances cooperated with me. I could complete almost 10 questions on the topic as the students quickly catched up with the portions. When the bell rang I left the class.

DAY 13

                                                   CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

  Today I reached the school by 7:45 a.m. There was school assembly today. The whole school was in a festive mood as the Christmas celebration was scheduled for today.

                           The whole school was decorated beautifully. There wasn’t any regular class till 11:30 am. The program started by 9 am. There was first period as usual from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. From 8:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. that was a short break, during which the children had their breakfast. By 9 a.m got lined up to go to the Silver Jubilee Auditorium Hall where the program was conducted.

                            The program on the whole was good enough to be watched. That was a prayer song followed by drama based on Christmas theme. Then there was a dance program by the kindergarten students. Lots of dance programs  followed then. The costumes that they used was worth to be mentioned. It was such a beauty to behold when all of them were on Stage. Dance and coir songs were there. There were other group songs too.

                           The first section was performed for the UP section. After all the students had vacated, the whole program was repeated for the LP section too.

                             By 2:15 p.m., we both left the school.

DAY 12

03/12/2019

  Today I reached the school at 7:45 am. The assembly had just begun then. That was a drizzling rain when I started from home. There was heavy traffic to then. Somehow, I managed to reach the school on time.

                            There were arrangements going on in the school today. I also participated in some works like preparing the event list, noting down the names of the students participating for different events and so on. So, I was a little busy today.

DAY 11

02/12/2019

Today during the school assembly principal ma'am gave away a short speech on account of giving congratulations to the Prize winners of the school youth festival.

                              In the break time, me and Achu went to meet Shirley mom to ask about the details of the Christmas celebration and about are assigned duties. Ma'am said that the assigned duties list  was not yet ready and once it gets ready  she will inform us. She also assured that by the next day the list will be ready. We then met Chitra ma'am and and helped her in typing question paper for the exam.
